What were the rules and criteria of the hackathon?
In order for your team’s project to be eligible for sponsor prizes, you must satisfy the following criteria
- Your team must have between 1 and 5 members
- Your project must be able to be presented from a laptop (we cannot promise the ability to present on the projector from your phone)
- The use of digital eyewear / Android emulators is fine if you do not have an AR Glass device or do not purchase one at the hackathon event.
- You must not have started designing / coding your project before Monday May 26th at 09:00 AM
Your team project will be judged on (3) criteria.
- Does this app solve a real problem in an innovative way?
- How much design / interactive progress did the team make on the application?
- How well did the team present the idea and the application?
What is an Auggie Award?
The Auggie Award™ Competition is an initiative by AugmentedReality.org, the producer of Augmented World Expo – the world’s largest gathering of professionals focused on Augmented Reality, Wearable Tech, and the Internet of Things. The goal of the competition is to promote excellence in these fields across various platforms and categories. The competition is intended to bring the best in the Augmented World from around the globe to the public awareness, and to recognize the best teams who develop technology and solutions that make the world more interactive and our life and work more engaging, productive, and fun.
